Pakistan port Qasim coal-fired power station is 2×660MW supercritical thermal power generating
units, Unit annual coal consumption of about 4.875 million tons, All the coal used to ship to the south side of the power plant unloading coal terminal, By the terminal of the coal from the dock bridge grappling unloading machine for unloading, And then transported through the belt conveyor into the plant. The total storage capacity is 390,000 tons, the coal storage capacity can meet the requirement of 2 × 660MW unit for 30 days.

Coal unloading system

1 The coal storage facilities use three strip opencast coal yard, arranged in parallel,
2 North and south two coal yard width of 50 meters, the middle of the coal field width of 77 meters,
3  Each coal field length of 408 meters,
4 Heap coal height of 15 meters,
5 The total coal storage capacity of about 390,000 tons,

Install Stackers And Reclaimers For Coal Reclaiming And Coal Stacking:

1 Stacker reclaimer equipment according to 2×660MW unit capacity considerations,

5 Cantilever length of 40m;

The other coal field is also equipped with two SEM655D wheel loader and three ZD220-3 push Coal machine, Used for coal field compaction finishing and auxiliary bucket-wheel stacker/reclaimer get on stacker and reclaimer operation.

Main auxiliary equipment of coal handling system

The coal conveyor system is equipped with belt conveyor, dust collector, iron separator, as-fired coal
sampling service, weighing scale and the checkout of dynamic cycle chain code etc. For protection belt conveyor roller screen ,ring-hammer coal crusher etc equipment safe and stable operation,

The coal handling system consists of four iron removal facilities, The first stage separator is arranged at the head of the No.2 conveyor station 2 belt conveyor,

The second-stage separator is arranged at the head of the belt conveyor No. 3 of the No.3 transfer station, The third level of the iron is arranged in the middle of the 4th bridge, The fourth level of the separator is arranged in the middle of the crusher room after the middle of the trestle drive between the sample. Also in the coal field 7A/7B belt conveyor into the No.2 and No.3 transfer stations are equipped with a separator.

The power station was installed in 3 sets belt shape iron separator and 6 sets disc-type iron separator. Each transfer station, coal crusher chamber, Push coal hangar etc all areas are equipped with
maintenance facilities, used for coal handling systems and the main plant coal bunker equipment
maintenance work.

Coal handling system for ground health use hydraulic flushing, after washing the coal slurry from No.2
transfer station, No.3transfer station, iron separator house, Sampling room and coal crusher chamber Set wells, liquid slurry from liquid slurry pump discharged into the coal water treatment room for recycling.

Coal water treatment system

Coal water treatment system Mainly by the three coal-containing wastewater lift pump, three clean
water pump, a backwashing pump, an electric grab crane, two sets of drug-soluble devices, two coal water purifier and other components.

Coal water treatment system operation using integrated workstations, the control system and coal
handling program control system network communication, through the coal handling program control
system of the host computer to monitor the operation of coal water treatment system.

PLC Base Coal program control system

The coal conveying control system is realized by PLC + FCS (Power Line Field Bus) control method.
The coal conveying control system consists of a set of PLC redundant main station +17 power line field bus master devices.
PLC master station and the main control device using Ethernet ring network structure to communicate the whole coal control system monitoring, including 12 sets of power transmission between the coal fieldbus master device, the terminal set between the two Taiwan power line fieldbus,
coal warehouse between the three sets of power line fieldbus master device. The control room is equipped with 2 operator stations, of which 1 takes into account the engineer’s station, the operator can remotely monitor the equipment in the programmable control room.
